We’re on a mission to simplify website building

Building an online website — whether that’s a one-page service website or complete online store — isn’t easy. And I say that because I learnt it the hard way.

Before I started working in ecommerce, I knew very little about building websites. But that changed when I started working for a small ecommerce company. My first day there I felt like I’d stepped into a whole new world that I never knew existed.

And within my first month I knew one thing: I loved it and I wanted to learn everything there I could to build my own online business.

As a 20-something person with limited resources, I turned to the internet for answers. And I found so many!

I started reading every blog post and watching every YouTube video I could find. I started playing around with different ecommerce tools to find the best ones that could help me succeed at my day job.

But I realized that nearly 90% of the reviews, tutorials, and comparisons were biased and everything worth learning was paywalled as courses and ebooks. Most of what I read online failed to translate into anything in the real world.

The articles barely scratched the surface of what it was like to build and run an online store because none of them were written by people with actual experience. Most are written by people without any ecommerce experience.

So after nearly 5 years of learning everything myself through trial and error, I quit my job in the height of the pandemic in 2020 and started Content Scribers to help B2B businesses write content that solved problems for their customers.

At Content Scribers, I wrote blog posts that brought my experience building and running online stores to the readers of some of the best affiliate marketers, web development agencies, and billion dollar SaaS brands in the world.

But somewhere along the line, I realized that it wasn’t enough. I wanted to do more. More in a way that would help people who are now where I once was: at the very beginning of their journey trying to learn how to build their online businesses.

So I started Ecommerce Launcher as a side project to help anyone who wants to build an online business learn how to do it right.
